I offer compassionate and professional support from my therapy space near Chipping Norton, as well as online. I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Counselling is a deeply supportive and focused kind of conversation that allows you to explore your concerns, feelings, and inner-self in depth. Choosing a counsellor can seem daunting with so many different approaches. What is most important is the quality of relationship you have with your counsellor. Whether you require emotional maintenance or assistance in overcoming significant life hurdles, my approach remains personal, offering a respectful, non-judgemental, and confidential therapeutic relationship.
Even six sessions can greatly impact your personal growth, especially in addressing relationship difficulties or enhancing self-awareness. In addition to providing insight into yourself and your relationships, you may experience reduced stress and anxiety, feel less isolated, and become more capable of making changes or accepting of what you cannot change. Ultimately, you may find yourself feeling more hopeful and discovering that life has more meaning.
I have a particular interest in stress and anxiety and how emotional overwhelm can translate into physical symptoms. I support clients through life transitions (career shifts, relationship changes, grief, identity, burnout, relocation, empty nest, etc.). Stress is often less about the event itself and more about the uncertainty, loss of control and accompanying change in identity. These are all things I can support you through.
